Who is Dorcastle Property?
Meet Amy & Simon — Owners of Dorcastle Property
We’re Amy and Simon, the proud owners of Dorcastle Property, a family-run business based in Dorchester, Dorset. Together, we bring over a decade of experience in the property industry, built initially through managing our own portfolio of buy-to-let properties.
Over the past two years, Amy has worked for a specialist company providing re-build cost assessments across a wide range of properties — from farms to football stadiums. During this time, she has developed strong expertise in project costing and timelines, as well as building excellent working relationships with RICS-accredited surveyors.
Simon brings 20 years of experience from the engineering sector and is also a proud former member of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. His background instills the values of precision, discipline, and reliability that we carry into everything we do at Dorcastle Property.
What security do we provide?
Protecting Your Investment with Dorcastle Property
At Dorcastle Property, your investment is fully protected. When clients fund a refurbishment project through a Joint Venture (JV), I offer a First Charge security on the property — ensuring your funds are secured throughout the project.
To further safeguard your interests, we use a Cross Option Agreement (COA). This legal agreement ensures that, in the event of my death, the transfer or sale of shares is simple, fair, and protects all parties involved — helping to maintain business continuity and security for investors and beneficiaries.
Alongside offering robust protection, I also give clients exclusive access to below-market property deals and proven buying expertise.
